“The  Boomer Boys” is the fifth original musical from this award-winning  composer, actor, director, producer and headline entertainer.

THE GHOST OF GERSHWIN

A struggling young composer (Grant) is haunted by the music of George Gershwin … until he meets the Ghost of Gershwin (George) … and his life is never the same again. The cast also features an adorable tap-dancing tile-setter/singer/actress (Mel) and a stunning tap-dancing cocktail waitress/ballerina (Nessa), a tap-dancing wacky widowed apartment manager (Coronelia), a sexy tap-dancing choreographer/director (Wilfred) and a funny reluctant tap-dancer/financial manager (Dennis).

Set in Brooklyn today, this romantic musical harkens back to the zany world of the 1930s where the tenants of this apartment building are all involved in the arts. People burst into song and dance at the drop of a hat. This effervescent, feel-good musical features all original songs, which are a delightful homage to the legacy of American icons George & Ira Gershwin.

How would you feel if you got to meet your idol and ask him any question you wanted? And what if the answer had nothing to do with the question, but changed your life anyway? You’d sing, wouldn’t you?

POLYESTER – The Musical

POLYESTER THE MUSICAL is the story of THE SYNCHRONISTICS, an over-the-hill ABBA wannabe group that reunites after 20 years to perform at a public access TV telethon, put their differences aside, and try to save the station from going under.

The year was 1979 and The Synchronistics were big. Big enough to be on Johnny Carson. Their hit single, “Better Together” rose to number two on the Billboard Charts. Then something terrible happened that drove the group apart. And now, 20 years later, they’re back together in Maple Valley, their home town, to perform at the 1999 WKLN public access TV Telethon.

Will they overcome their differences from 20 years ago, act professionally and help save WKLN from going under? Probably not. But you never know what to expect when this dysfunctional group gets together…one last time. A farcical 70’s time warp.

IS THIS ANYWAY TO START A MARRIAGE?

Michael and Megan, young New York newlyweds, spend their wedding night trapped in their Bridal Suite… along with both sets of parents and Giorgio, the hotel’s overly helpful gay Colombian bellhop.

The two newlyweds fresh from the alter, stumbling through the dark streets of New York are forced to walk to their expensive hotel (after the bride’s self-centered parents departed in the couples limo), and are mugged on the way to their hotel. This event inspires the Megan to propose the question “Is this anyway to start a marriage?” in a well sung musical number which sets the precedence for the further examination of this question throughout the production.
